Pharm. Aliyu Bello Aliyu, a 2017 Pharmacy graduate from the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, has won a cash prize of $2000 for Healthcare Innovation &Tech Advancement at the just concluded Nigeria-Canada Investment Submit, held in Abuja.
Aliyu, who emerged third among the winners, presented an innovative project on the advancement of technology in healthcare, and his work was featured among the best at the summit.
Following this feat, members of the Young Pharmacists Group (YPG) have been felicitating with him on Twitter on this noble achievement, while wishing him greater heights in the nearest future.
Aliyu is the CEO of Myclinic.ng, an online, on-demand platform that enables anyone from anywhere to see and talk to a doctor at anytime simply using a mobile app and all within 5 minutes. The goal of the platform is to minimize costly, time consuming and sometimes unnecessary hospital visits.
The platform also integrates diagnostics laboratories across Nigeria which significantly broadens the spectrum of conditions that can be managed using online consultation.
